ive been waiting for this for ages
I believe I read that in the states it's going to be shown in its entirety with an intermission, but will be cut into two movies around the rest of the world.
yes
the one week release will show it the way it was during all the film festivals
257 minutes with a 30 minute intermission in between which will be split into "the argentine" which deals with his time in argentina up to the revolution then part 2 "guerilla" will cover post revolution to his death in the mountains in bolivia
man thats badass. I can't wait to see this movie, whenever that may be.
there are some clips and like 3 different trailers on youtube
check it out
ive always been intrigued with the cuban revolution
I will do that tomorrow.
I've got to go though so I can study some psych before my final tomorrow. Damn finals...
aight look, im not "the man" , im all down for the counterculture, working for a good and nobel cause, but all this che guerva love is pretty weird, for an american at least.
for one, he played a major role in helping a dictator obtain power.
he was probably the most significant person of the cuban revolution aside from castro.
second, he had no problems killing prisoners during the revolution, with no trial or any process at all.
more young people now admire che than MLK or gandhi
all because of the gap t-shirts and hot topic posters
he was more influential than castro
i dont admire the guy but i am intrigued by what went down in cuba.......and have been for sometime now
that being said as a huge movie buff this is one that seems very well written and acted and should win awards
i actually think the movie will be excellent, because the storyline is very intriguing.
its crazy tho, a 5 hr long movie about a man who died at 39.
4:17 not 5 hours
LOL
